EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At Kensington, we believe that “opportunity” for all children is the key to moulding skilful and well-balanced individuals. Physical Development, language and music clubs, as well as a wide range of other extra-curricular provisions, are easily accessible at the appropriate developmental stage. Children of all ages have ample opportunities to find and shape their talents with popular clubs, such as Mandarin, phonics, cooking, drama, adventure club, ballet, etc.

ADDITIONAL SPECIALIST PROGRAMMES

(THAI, PE, SWIMMING, SEN)

Kensington timetables include additional specialist programmes to broaden children’s experiences and provide designated sessions with specialist teachers within school hours.

Our qualified and experienced Thai Teacher works with all classes, and our Early Years UK trained PE and Swimming Teacher provides PE lessons as well as water confidence and swimming lessons to all students over 3 years old.

We also have a designated Special Educational Needs Lead Teacher (SENCO) who oversees all assessments and provisions for any child with additional needs. This is to enable these children to access our curriculum as fully as possible and to organise and advise on the appropriate support to ensure their needs are met and developmental progress is made.

ENGLISH AS ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE (EAL)

Our qualified and experienced EAL teacher delivers intervention programmes throughout the day, supporting the specific English Language acquisitional learning needs of many students.
