The NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) Platinum certification is an advanced level of accreditation under the Quality Counts scheme, designed to recognize nurseries that provide exceptional childcare and education. Achieving this certification involves a thorough and rigorous assessment process that includes self-reflection, external audits, and onsite evaluations by early years experts.
The Quality Counts scheme is based on high standards of practice and principles from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, aiming to promote continuous improvement within nurseries. Nurseries that earn the Platinum award demonstrate outstanding leadership, staff capabilities, child development practices, and a commitment to health and wellbeing.
