Ms. Tippy philosophy is based on the development of the whole child through fostering self-confidence and self-esteem. I am passionate about creating opportunities for all children to learn in a variety of ways. I believe that learning through play is an essential part of every child’s life, and this is why I became an Early Years teacher. In my opinion, children learn best through first-hand experiences and stimulating environments, which make the learning personal and relevant to the child. Furthermore, I believe that by encouraging children to take ownership of all aspects of their education, they are able to follow their interests, fascinations and imagination confidently.
She passionate about enabling children to develop a strong sense of themselves by providing the freedom to explore their environment. That allows them to develop their personality, curiosity, imagination, language, and social skills. I also believe that every child should be encouraged to have the self-determination to make informed choices and take controlled risks. I am looking forward to developing my leadership skills as the toddler team leader and my aim is to foster a love for learning and exploration through providing children with immersive learning experiences, encouraging them to develop independent learning skills and make better sense of the world around them.
