What a brilliant week of reading across our school. Classrooms have been buzzing with stories, recommendations and shared reading. It’s been lovely to see children so excited about books.

A huge highlight was our Staff Mystery Readers: a PowerPoint of five mystery reading videos shared through the week, with the big reveal in Friday’s assembly.

The children were hooked trying to spot clues and guess who it was! We also loved the energy and creativity from the Barefoot Banana workshops, bringing stories to life in a fun and memorable way.

Alongside this, our after-school staff story sessions in the libraries, book sellers, and the Book Swap have kept the reading buzz going all week. Today’s finale Dress-Up Day and fantastic house competition entries was the perfect finish.

Thank you to our families and staff for your support! we’re ending the week with even more children keen to pick up a book.
