This academic year, Kensington has opened a new learning space, the Sports, Science & Innovation Centre, bringing together dedicated spaces for sports, music, science, technology, and innovation. The centre is designed to enrich the learning experiences of Primary students, particularly those in the upper Primary years, as they grow and discover a wider range of interests.
ไฮไลต์พื้นที่สำคัญภายในอาคารใหม่
- Sportditorium — พื้นที่ขนาดใหญ่ที่รองรับทั้ง Auditorium และ Indoor Sports เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะด้านกีฬาอย่างเต็มที่ พร้อมรองรับกิจกรรม การแสดง และอีเวนต์ต่าง ๆ ของโรงเรียน
- 25-Metre Swimming Pool — สระว่ายน้ำขนาด 25 เมตรสำหรับการเรียน การฝึกซ้อม และการแข่งขัน ช่วยให้นักเรียนพัฒนาทักษะและต่อยอดความสามารถด้านว่ายน้ำอย่างต่อเนื่อง
- Music Hall — ห้องแสดงและห้องซ้อมดนตรีที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกฝน พัฒนาทักษะ และสร้างความมั่นใจในการถ่ายทอดความสามารถผ่านเสียงดนตรี
- Design & Innovation Room — พื้นที่การเรียนรู้ด้าน STEAM ที่ให้นักเรียนได้ประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้ ฝึกคิดแก้ปัญหา และพัฒนาความคิดสร้างสรรค์ผ่านการลงมือทำ พร้อม Studio สำหรับพัฒนาไอเดียและโปรเจกต์ รวมถึงพื้นที่สำหรับค้นคว้าและทดลอง
Key spaces within the new centre include:
- Sportditorium — A large, versatile space that serves as both an Auditorium and Indoor Sports facility, giving students opportunities to practise and develop their sporting skills, while also hosting school activities, performances, and events.
- 25-Metre Swimming Pool — A 25-metre pool designed for lessons, training, and swimming competitions, supporting students as they build their skills and develop their abilities in the water.
- Music Hall — A dedicated space for music practice and performances, where students can develop their musical skills, express themselves creatively, and build confidence through music.
- Design & Innovation Room — A STEAM Learning space where students can apply their knowledge, develop problem-solving skills, and explore their creativity through hands-on learning. The space also includes a Studio for developing ideas and projects, as well as areas for research and experimentation.

At Kensington, the Learning Environment is an important part of the learning experience. A well-designed environment can inspire children, spark their curiosity, and encourage them to try new things in their own way.
The Sports, Science & Innovation Centre is therefore more than an extension of the school. It is a space designed for children to Explore, Create, Experiment and Discover through sports, music, science, technology, and innovation.
Learning does not happen only when children find the answers. It also happens when they ask questions, experiment, search for answers, and discover what interests them. This is another step in supporting children on their journey to becoming Happy Lifelong Learners — children who enjoy learning and are ready to grow and discover something new every day.

Every space at Kensington plays a role in enriching students’ experiences, from classrooms and activity areas to the school’s facilities. Together, these spaces create an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and the development of each child’s abilities.
The Sports, Science & Innovation Centre marks another important step for Kensington International School and a new landmark for learning in the Ratchapruk–Taling Chan area, bringing together sports, science, technology, music, and innovation in a space where children can learn, explore, and discover their potential as they grow.
