At Kensington International School, the safety and well-being of every child are our highest priorities. We are committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn.
Our safeguarding policy reflects our overarching ethos of inclusion and aligns with both Thai and UK laws, including the Child Protection Act of Thailand and the UK’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.

Safeguarding at Kensington encompasses both preventative measures and responsive actions to protect children from harm, including abuse or neglect. All staff receive regular, comprehensive training, equipping them to identify and respond to concerns effectively. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and our team is dedicated to fostering a secure and nurturing environment.

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) oversee all safeguarding and child protection matters. They ensure staff are well-informed, maintain confidentiality, and liaise with external agencies when necessary. Through annual training, scenario discussions, and continuous updates, we ensure that our approach remains proactive and thorough.

Throughout the school year, we promote well-being and celebrate events that prepare children for the complexities of the world they are growing up in. At Kensington, safeguarding is more than a policy; it is a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing confident, resilient, and happy learners.
