Varaporn holds a Bachelor’s degree with First Class honors in economics (International Program) from Thammasat University, and Master’s degree in Economics from University College London, University of London.

She also gained a Master Degree in Finance from the Imperial College London, University of London. She worked as an investment banker at SCB Securities Co., Ltd. Afterwards she joined the Ministry of Finance as a senior economist and subsequently appointed as head of financial institution division.
