As part of their learning theme “What comes out of an egg?”, Year 1 students had an amazing time exploring the world of dinosaurs during Dinosaur Discovery Day.

From becoming young paleontologists digging for dinosaur fossils, to creating their own miniature fossils and identifying dinosaur species from eggs, the children explored how these fascinating creatures lived and grew, while also investigating the sizes of different dinosaurs

One of the highlights of the day was researching dinosaur diets and crafting “dinosaur poop” from salt dough, learning the difference between carnivores, herbivores and omnivores in a fun way!

A wonderful day of curiosity, creativity and discovery 🦕✨
