We had a wonderful welcome back from the half-term break as we celebrated Diwali!
The children looked spectacular in their traditional Indian or colourful outfits and we loved parading around the track to Indian music as we celebrated together. The children walked and danced in complete confidence – it is hard to believe they are all between 2-6yrs old!
In our classes, the children learnt about Diwali by comparing it to other festivals, looking at the significance of light and creating a range of Diwali inspired art-work including Rangoli patterns, henna designs, divas and fireworks. What a fun day!
